It also involves creating and maintaining positive relationships with customers, in order to increase the likelihood of success of the strategy. And finally, one of the most important aspects of the marketing strategy is the budget management to make sure that the budget used for the strategy will cover all the necessary elements and goals.

When creating or reviewing a marketing strategy, make sure that all the goals are in line with one another. Also, remember to include a time line so you know when you will reach your goal(s). If you have not outlined a time frame, make sure to have a contingency plan for reaching all your goals set during the timeframe. And lastly, make sure to review and re-evaluate your strategy from time to time.

However, before developing a marketing strategy, business owners and managers should first determine their target market.
